Our Commitment

Encludo is an accessibility company. We practice what we preach. This website is designed and built to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We continually improve the user experience for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all pages of encludo.com.

Measures Taken

  • Semantic HTML: All pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are keyboard accessible with visible focus indicators
  • Skip Navigation: A “Skip to main content” link is available on every page
  • Color Contrast: All text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 minimum)
  • Touch Targets: All interactive elements meet the 44x44px minimum target size
  • Responsive Design: Full functionality from 320px to 4K resolutions
  • Reduced Motion: All animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting
  • Form Accessibility: All form inputs have visible labels and error descriptions
  • Alt Text: All images have descriptive alternative text
  • Automated Testing: We run axe-core and pa11y-ci on every deployment
  • Screen Reader Testing: Tested with VoiceOver (macOS) and NVDA (Windows)
  • Dog-Fooding: The Encludo widget is embedded on this site

Encludo Widget

This website includes the Encludo accessibility widget, providing additional controls including:

  • Font size adjustment (80-200%)
  • High contrast, dark mode, and grayscale options
  • Dyslexia-friendly fonts (OpenDyslexic, Lexend)
  • Reading guide and focus indicators
  • Motion reduction
  • AI-powered assistance and voice commands

Known Limitations

While we strive for full compliance, the following known limitations exist:

  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., calendar widgets) may not be fully accessible
  • PDF downloads may have limited accessibility — we are working to remediate these
